By accessing or using TastingTrek (“the Service”) at tastingtrek.com.au, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.

2. Description of service

TastingTrek is a restaurant discovery platform that helps users find restaurants in Perth, Western Australia. We provide search, ranking, and shortlisting features. We do not operate restaurants, take bookings directly, or guarantee availability at any listed venue.

3. Restaurant information

Restaurant information, ratings, photos, hours, and availability displayed on TastingTrek are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that information is current, complete, or error-free. Always confirm details directly with the restaurant before visiting.

Trek Score™ rankings are algorithmically generated and represent our assessment of fit for a given search context. They are not endorsements or guarantees of quality.

4. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Submit false or misleading information about restaurants
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure

5. Intellectual property

The TastingTrek name, logo, Trek Score™ methodology, and all original content on this website are owned by TastingTrek and protected by Australian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

Restaurant names, logos, and photos remain the property of their respective owners. Restaurant-provided content is used with permission.

6. Third-party links and bookings

TastingTrek may link to third-party booking platforms (OpenTable, Resy, or restaurant websites). These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party sites. Booking transactions are solely between you and the restaurant or booking platform.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TastingTrek disclaims all warranties including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TastingTrek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed $100 AUD.

9. Restaurant partners

Restaurant operators who claim or manage a listing on TastingTrek are subject to additional terms outlined in our Restaurant Partner Agreement, available upon request. By submitting information to TastingTrek, restaurant operators warrant that they have the right to do so and grant TastingTrek a licence to display that information.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
